The Average Class Growth Chart
This article will explain how to use the Class Improvement Graph to measure student success over time and against the class average.

What is the Class Improvement Widget?

The Class Improvement widget helps you easily understand average reading growth in Coach, and Lexile levels in the Personalized Library.

Viewing student data

The individual student data shows the student's Reading and Lexile levels compared to the class average, with grade level gains since the first assessment indicated in green. Progress monitoring data is displayed on the 1st and 15th of each month. Assessments taken between the 2nd and 15th will appear on the 15th, while those taken between the 16th and the 30th/31st will appear on the 1st. The blue triangle indicates the class's average growth. If the triangle is not filled in, not all students have completed their progress monitoring assessment for that date.

Viewing an individual student

To remove the class data and only show an individual student, select their name from the Search tab. Only the student selected will be displayed on the graph.
