Administrator Insight Emails
This article provides a reference for the structure, delivery, and purpose of the automated Admin Insight Emails, including details on content, schedule, and eligibility for sending.

Overview

Administrator emails are automated messages that provide concise, actionable insights about student progress and program usage. They deliver brief, meaningful updates on student and school performance to help administrators stay informed and engaged with the platform.

Email Types

These emails provide administrators with targeted insights through three distinct types of messages, each designed to highlight key data.

Celebration Email

Purpose: To recognize top-performing schools and classes, celebrate growth.

Content: Highlights the top three schools or classes demonstrating the highest reading level growth for both the current month and the school year to date.

Delivery Schedule: Sent on the first Monday of each month, beginning in the second month of the school year.

You may not receive this email if: the administrator oversees fewer than three classes or schools, no measurable growth during the reporting period, or data for the previous month has not yet been finalized or synced in the system.

Projection Email

Purpose: Provide a visual summary of school gains  over time and project the EOY gains based on a trendline calculation

Content: The visualization includes the starting point, three evenly spaced midpoint data points, and the current endpoint, along with an end-of-year (EOY) projection calculated using a trendline. Data from all schools or districts that the administrator oversees.

Delivery Schedule: Sent on the second Monday of each month, beginning in the third month of the school year.

You may not receive this email if: There are insufficient data points available to calculate the five-point growth trendline, growth data for one or more schools under the administrator’s access is incomplete or unavailable, or the school year is still in its first two months (emails begin in the third month).

Comparison Email

Purpose: Motivate engagement by showing how a district or school compares to similar peers.

Content: Displays average weekly usage trends for the past six weeks across all schools under the administrator’s access and compares them to similar districts or schools (within ±10% of enrollment size and average grade level).

Delivery Schedule: Sent on the third Monday of each month, beginning in the second month of the school year

You may not receive this email if: There are no comparable schools or districts within ±10% of enrollment size and average grade level, the administrator’s usage data for the six-week reporting period is incomplete or below the activity threshold, or the school year is still in its first month (emails begin in the second month).
