What is MindPlay Reading Coach (MRC)?

MindPlay Reading Coach (MRC) provides explicit and systematic instruction to improve reading skills in students of all ages, from early readers to adults. MRC offers a comprehensive, individualized learning experience that covers a wide range of reading skills, including phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and grammar for meaning.

Who can benefit from MRC?

Most MindPlay Reading Coach students are in grades 2-8, using it in an intervention capacity. Still, MindPlay Reading Coach is also used in K-1, high school, adult education, and even correctional facilities. MindPlay Reading Coach provides direct, explicit instruction to learners, developing pre-reading skills that lay the foundation for literacy by enhancing reading fluency skills.
