Student Dashboards: Track Progress and Celebrate Growth
This article provides an overview of the new K–1 and Grades 2+ Student Dashboards, highlighting features that make learning engaging, interactive, and personalized.

K-1 Dashboard

The K–1 Student Dashboard is designed to make learning engaging, interactive, and meaningful for young learners. Through playful visuals, motivating badges, and friendly guides like Tilly, students can explore their digital learning environment, track their progress, and feel supported as they grow.

Learning Biome

The dashboard features responsive backgrounds that shift between day and night and reflect the student’s current biome.

Dashboard Badges Widget

The landing page displays colorful badges for units students have completed, alongside greyed-out silhouettes for badges they have yet to earn.

Tilly, the Universal Explorer

Tilly appears on the dashboard and in celebratory modals wearing biome-specific gear.

Grades 2+ Dashboard

The Grades 2+ Student Dashboard helps students understand their progress, take ownership of their learning, and stay focused on growth. It allows students to view and manage all teacher-assigned work, track books currently open in the library, and monitor usage levels.

Foundational Skills Profile

A student-facing view that mirrors the teacher dashboard, providing transparency into foundational reading skills. Students can clearly see which skills are mastered and which are still in progress, supporting goal-setting and self-monitoring.
Gains-First Growth Widget

A top-level display that prioritizes Reading Level and Lexile growth.

Badges Widget

A persistent “trophy case” that visually highlights unit mastery. Badges recognize accomplishments and reinforce motivation through visible progress markers.
